Recipe 01/ Sleep

Put your phone to bed at 10 PM

Give the end of your day to a book, a small evening ritual, and rest.

Wind DownFree

Before you start

Open Tysh on your iPhone and grant Screen Time access when prompted.

Let’s set it up.

  1. Open Wind Down

On Home, open Wind Down. On first use, complete its introduction and bed/wake setup.

  2. Choose your sleep window

Set bedtime to 22:00, wake time to 07:00, and select every day.

  3. Make the routine yours

In the editor, choose a 60-minute Evening span and a 30-minute Morning span. Keep a few checklist items, such as reading and preparing tomorrow's clothes; add custom items if useful.

  4. Save and switch it on

Save and make sure the Home Wind Down switch is on.

What happens next

Wind Down applies its all-app boundary across the sleep window. The Evening list appears from 22:00–23:00; the Morning list appears from 06:30–07:00. Checking off items does not unlock apps. Tysh remains accessible for the routine and its controls.

If your plans change

Stop Wind Down ends this night and leaves tomorrow scheduled. Resume tonight restores it for the current night. The Home switch turns the recurring feature off entirely. Wind Down currently has no user-configurable essentials allowlist.

Another active protection can still keep the same app blocked. After setup, check that your boundary saved and enabled successfully.
