Check messages at chosen times
Give messages their own place in the day instead of checking between every task.
Before you start
Open Tysh on your iPhone and grant Screen Time access when prompted.
Open Lines has its own app selection. It does not use your App List allowance.
Let’s set it up.
Open the setup
Open Open Lines on Home or its Set up row in Blocks.
Choose your communication apps
Complete the introduction and select the communication apps you want to schedule.
Set your windows
Set the three windows above and keep Open early at 10 minutes.
Review and turn on
Review the selection, windows, and any overlapping blocks, then turn Open Lines on.
What happens next
Selected apps are accessible during the windows and blocked between them. The same schedule runs every day. Notifications still arrive: Open Lines schedules access, not notification delivery.
If your plans change
Use Open early for temporary access to the whole Open Lines selection, or turn the feature off. Open Lines never overrides another active block. Free supports two or three windows; more windows and custom early-open durations require Premium.
Another active protection can still keep the same app blocked. After setup, check that your boundary saved and enabled successfully.
